Got Lead: Ruger gets the nod hands down at our house. My Son and I are Blackhawk & Vaquero die hard fans, It has been my experience over the years that you have to really work at is to damage a Ruger. We have never had any problems with any of our Rugers and they all shoot very well. I have carried a Blackhawk or Vaquero for many a mile and they have never failed Me or my Son. They are as strong as any revolers I know of, and very comforting to carry (( because they work and they work every time )). GOOD LUCK TO YOU: ken
My collection of revolvers is fairly pathetic. I currently own only one revolver, a Freedom Arms M83. I used to own a Dan Wesson .44 Mag made just before they went under and got bought by CZ, it was a pile of poo.
Oh well I may only own one revolver, but at least it's a really good one. I need to buy more.
I have owned only two revolvers in my life. One was a Miroku .38 spl with a 2" (or thereabouts) barrel in the early '70s. It was sold a long time ago in a place far, far away.
I currently own a brilliant S&W 342.
I would ha' owned more, but hard luck and dumb decisions do take their toll on a body.
