OK I did a little searching and came up dry. I have a Weaver cantilever scope mount for my flat top AR. Its a solid enough mount but I wish it would put the scope further forward.
The Weaver puts the front ring about 1 1/2” forward if the base itself. The eye relief on my scope is 3 1/2” so its very cramped. Any Ideas?

Price range?

I've had good success with American Defense mounts as a good mix of price and quality. My mount has a solid 2, maybe 2.5 inches between the front of the mount and the front ring.

I can't say it's the most, but it works.

I have a Burris PEPR on my PTR that hangs out a good ways as well.

I'm assuming you can't just move your existing mount forward a couple notches?

LaRue makes an extended cantilever mount that I use for a Trijicon TR24G optic on my lightweight carbine. Great mount, QD levers, and perfect height and eye relief. I'll have to look at it later for the model and actual offset, but if I recall correctly its 3.5" offset.

scope mount

my rockriver high rise cantilever mount is right at 2 7/8 past the base .:)

Thanks for the help
It looks like the American Defense Recon X is the best choice so far. The only thing that stops me from ordering one right now is the sideways ring setup.
The Larue is the same way. I understand why they do it, but it seems like less than a good idea.

It works really well though. Besides, it's not like you're taking the scope out of the mount that much.
