Which gun should i buy

I'm a pawn shop shopper having purchased 5 of my last 7 guns out of a pawn shop. So as far as buying out of a pawn shop, I'm all for it as long as they have some kind of warranty that goes with it.

buy whichever one feels the best when shouldered. how does it feel to you? which one do you like, makes you keep coming back to? Get that one.

the triggers on the Savages are fine. We got one in 270 for my son (pawn shop) and it is a good, easy shooting gun.

As far as the Marlin XL7 goes, I almost got one a couple months ago in 25-06. The only thing that stoped me was dishing out another $370 on a gun I really didn't need at the time, just wanted- and I'd have a hard time explaining it to mama just after buying a 270.

Just bought my Tikka on Wednesday. I was looking at those three guns. I made my decision based on a few things:

1) I stayed away from anything with the accu-trigger because I hunt in Minnesota and thick winter gloves made me nervous with that trigger.

2) I have a remington 700 in .22-250. I like it. I don't love it. Its a simple gun, does what its supposed to, but with their quality control over the last few years I became remmy shy.

3) the tikka is just too damn smooth for me to pass up. I'm an active hunter so I really wanted a light gun that could stand up to the huge variety of weather conditions we may see in a deer season. (last year opening day was 60 degrees and my last shot was taken at -10 and snowing.)
