Which is better for 3.6" barrel P320?

hmm i rather go with the 124 +p
1. im not a 9mm fan, i like .45 acp for reasons that a 9mm could never fill.
2. that being said, I like heavier bullets because of energy transfer. I want the threat to stop and I want vitals to be shocked. Penetration isnt enough...however it IS important.
So those are some of the things I look for. At the end of the day we all have to load up and live or die with what we think will work the best...although all will work very similarly.
Bringing it together, because of a short barrel ccw type gun, there will be a significant velocity loss. The 150's might not get the penetration you want, but they will have the energy which is kind of the opposite of what I was saying I was looking for personally, but the 124+p will make up for the loss of velocity and will hit harder so having enough blend of energy and penetration...probably more penetration less energy.
Parting opinion, I think the 147+p HST will probably have a better blend of hydrostatic shock and penetration then the 124s...

147+p would be my choice...purely..and objectively considering ballistics based on cartridge choice and barrel size.
From all of my research, I would choose 124g or 147g standard pressure HST. In gelatin (and therefor humans?) there isn't enough difference when you go to +P to make the added recoil worth it. Faster, accurate follow-up shots with the standard pressure is a bigger factor. 124g or 147g? Whichever is in stock assuming they both feed reliably and shoot point of aim in your firearm.
The 150gr HST was a nice idea, but initial tests out of short-barreled handguns show it performing poorly. I think if it was shot out of a 5" barrel or a carbine, it would perform really well in relative terms for a 9mm bullet.
So to answer your question, the 124+P P9HST3 is going to be better suited for self defense using a Sig P320sc than the 150gr micro.
I think the 2 rounds that perform the best are the 147gr Winchester Ranger "T" Series - RA9T, and the Federal 147gr +P HST - P9HST4
