Which is the best small blowback .380 that ISN'T a Kel-Tec or Seecamp?

I like my Colt Pony Pocketlite. I am seriously considering the Ruger LCP after I see how they perform.

Sig P232 380

Quote: Sig P232 stainless.

Tackdriver, reliable, and it won't rust on you so easily.

Some even come from the factory with night sights.

Pretty much that's it, except IMO, with mine, on the far left, she needs to be completely cleaned after 230 rounds max and keep the mags clean as well, and just make sure she is good and wet/with fresh oil and you're good to go.

Just to clarify,,,,,
The Kel-Tec isn't a blowback operated action.
It is a locked breech action as is the very similar Ruger LCP.

One more vote for the Sig – You get what you pay for. :)

I have had some really bad luck with *2* Bersas … :banghead:.

Also not very small. Neither is the Beretta 84/85.

I'm gonna have to go with all who've suggested the Guardian. Solid little gun, and NAA is a wonderful company to deal with. Sandy truly cares about his customers.

The Sig P232/230 is great. I have a P232 in stainless and it is my favorite carry gun. It disappears IWB under a dark shirt, is very accurate and point shoots naturally.

Wait a little longer and see how the P380 from Kahr looks. Notice, unlike the PLC and KelTec the tight fit and lack of space between the slide and frame on the Kahr. You get what you pay for.

Lonestar,

Mine's exactly like yours-hogue factory grip, night sights, stainless. It is a gem.

MachIV,

It isn't tiny, but the nice thing about that is that it shoots very well. Any shorter than the P232, and you throw shots off by a few feet with any little twitch of the trigger. The P232 is about the shortest, smallest gun I can keep on target without extreme concentration on the trigger.

p-64 in 9x18
(.380 is 9x17)

p-64 is bit smaller than Walther PPK (in my measurement), is blowback and is steel, and is very very accurate
(and horrible first DA pull)

I would have to say take a look at the NAA Guardian in .380. The new Ruger LCP is another option but I would hold off on the Ruger for 6 months to a year and see how it performs because it has no track record at this time and is a new design for Ruger.

lcp

The ruger lcp is one totally awsome gun, It goes bang every time BUT it is not a blowback. But that would be my first choice for sure, as it is extremely small, and quality throughout and I have a good friend that has 1300 flawless rounds through his Ruger lcp, designed alot like the Kel-tec 380, ONLY this gun works. Priced around $255.

Ruger has a real winner with the lcp. It is being raved about by all who own them. I have two on order and can't wait. Had 3 kt's(one 32 and 2 380). they are now gone due to being an unreliable handgun. Nice design, just IMO not good quality.

Not exactly a tried and true, time tested firearm.
