They're worse than Lay's potato chips....'betcha can't read just one!
I certainly couldn't....I just finished his last about 3 or 4 weeks ago. The world lost a true hero, on several levels, on 9-25-06.........
That is the ultimate Cooper work. Read all of his work, but start with that one. It will give you his distilled phylosophy and thoughts on many subjects. You'll get alot more out of it than you expect.
If this is "A Book Of Five Rings", the classic guide to strategy you are referring to I do hope Coopers book is easier reading.
I think I'm going to have to see for myself. I've read Musashi's book at least a dozen times and I still don't think I understand everything he's saying.
I received my copy of "To Ride, Shoot Straight, and Speak the Truth" and plan to start reading it this PM. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Say I'm a guy who's not really a fan of Cooper-- not opposed to the guy in anyway but I just had no interest in reading how the bolt action rifles and single action pistols with FMJ from 1902 are really the best. Is there any more or different substance in the books or do the have the same tone as his columns?
