A Glock 1911 would be one ironic piece of shooter. After all, you really think Glock would put a manual safety on one of their guns? They'd spend all their R&D money trying to figure out how a manual safety on a gun works.

Um, NO. Ever actually SEE one?

The fundamental designs of the frame, slide, barrel, and the entire trigger mechanism are COMPLETELY different between the two. They don't even LOOK that similar.

Nothing in the 1911 is the same as the CZ75. I have always thought they looked completely different, even though someone at the range (shooting a dan wesson 1911) mistook my 75B for a 1911. Go figure.
