What does a used maverick 88 sell for? About $100? Keep both and sell something else. Good luck OP.

these past four years have been hard, went from 14 long guns and 4 handguns to 2 long gun and 1 handgun. got nothing else to sell worth anything. i've been offered $175 for the shotgun and 2 barrels, its not been shot but 3 times and $350 for the handgun, it has less than 20rds thru it. bank won't loan as i'm stretched on payments now, i thank everyone for the help. i will probably go with the shotgun to sell, that way i get my car fixed with it, don't mind being low on money as long as stuff don't tear up and hit me like this. good news is in about 3 years i'm supposed to get this debt down a lot. thanks for everyone's advice again, i appreciate ya'lls help.

Shotgun would be easier to replace later. You said you have thousands of rounds for each.
Maybe sell some ammo.

Do you carry concealed often? How much do you hunt? Shotgun with slug barrel is a very versatile gun, but i almost never see 9mm revolvers for sale. The thing about a pump shotgun is, you almost never get very much for one compared to the wide range of uses and utility they provide.

If you still cant decide, list them both for sale. Once the first one sells at a good price take the ad for the other one down ( if using armslist). Good luck.

old fart

Sorry to hear about your financial troubles. Here's hoping you get everything turned around in short order and get things back on track. Best of luck to you in all of your future endeavors my friend.

I'll always have a shotgun because I can feed myself with it, done so in the past can do it again. Maybe that's not you but if all you're defending is the homestead a shotgun will do that too.

Sorry old fart. I think $175 is a fair price. Good choice with going with the shotgun to sell imo.
