I'm completely "un-pimping" my Yugoslav SKS. Love the basic stock, but it's kinda short. A Limbsaver would add an inch to LOP and make it an absolute pussycat to shoot. Anybody know offhand if the "small" fits snugly, or do I need a "medium"?

(Thanks guys!)

Limbsaver offers grind to fit recoil pads with fit dimensions listed at their website. You can measure your rifle and choose. Personally, I would just add a spacer instead of replacing buttpad. Much easier and cheaper. Another option is a slip-on recoil pad which add about a inch.

Riven Cole, that's the stuff right there. Understand, y'all, I say "unpimp" instead of "restore" because "restore" is not really possible (a previous owner drunk-monkey Dremmeled off the bayonet lugs, among other things), nor sensible given I have no desire to put much money in it or use it as anything other than a cheap workhorse rifle.

A good, snug-fitting slip-on pad does everything I really need for under $25 at Walmart.

Thanks for the info!
