Planning to go out of state for the first time this coming year. Don't know which state is better for all around hunting, Washington or Oregon. My X son in law used to complain that Oregon game laws were very confusing. Short seasons, too many zones, etc. I know nothing about WA game laws personally, to compare them too. I looked them up on the web, and both states seem to be confusing. (I thought CA. was bad.) Just wondering if some of you folks who have hunted both states had any opinions. The reason I pick WA & OR is due to time, and kids being able to come along. Undoubtedly there are other and better places. Open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
PPP

I wouldn't waste the time or money on WA. I don't even hunt much here and I live here. A deer+elk+bear license will run you $722 for non-residents. Deer and elk seasons are not together either.

Try North Idaho or Montana. WA mulie season was cut to only one week for modern fire arm. Besides, the season is so early you have to decide whether to take sun screen or your rifle.
