Which tigger system do you like in a semi auto?

When I was younger, I always liked SA.

Now, at 40, I prefer DA/SA. On my Beretta 92, I have a D spring, and my DA pull is down from 11.5 lbs to about 8 lbs. the SA pull is just over 4 lbs.

I have no real issues with any of them, as a trigger system. I've just never met a DAO I really like, or a 'pre-loaded DA' (think Glock, I just don't consider it truly DA) that felt all that great.

For the range, SA is great. For SD, I currently won't carry anything I can't fire from decocked.

I really feel the best trigger system ever devised for a semi auto is the squeeze cocking system on the HK P7 series. Safest as well providing you aren't stupid. And the fact the squeeze cocker also acts as a slide release makes for some fast reloads.

I am also partial to a well tuned 1911 trigger and for Glocks I like the ZEV Tech Fulcrum trigger.

Beretta dao

I may be alone in this, but I really liked the DOUBLE ACTION ONLY trigger on the BERETTA 92 and 96 pistols.

I found these to be among the most accurate combat (NON-TARGET & NON GAME) pistols. I was able to hit man size targets at 100 yards with a BERETTA 96D Brigadier.

I also like the traditional DOUBLE/SINGLE ACTION trigger on the SIG 225 and/230232 pistols.

These are what I shot the most often as I enjoy them the most and carry them the most frequently.
