Which USPSA Division?

I plan on trying a USPSA match, but am not sure which Division I should shoot in. I would like to shoot my Glock 17 in Production Division. However, I have done two modifications to the gun: 1) installed Glock 3.5 # connector and 2) installed Dawson Precision fiber optic sights. So am I eligilble to shoot in the Production Division with this gun? Or what Division is the correct choice? Thank you.

I did the same to my XD9 (3.5# trigger and Dawson FO sight) and I was in the Production Division. Enjoy.

There are other modifications you can do and still remain in Production. Download a copy of the rules from the USPSA website to see what you can and can not do. You'll eventually want a trigger job if you wish to be competitive...but don't think you have to be competitive. It's really about how YOU improve over time. Have fun!
