I was thinking of trying the Wilderness belt because of the infinate adjustability. I have been told these are the best non-leather belts.
I was going to try the five stitch, 1 1/2" because I will only be carrying my PM9. (should be correct?)

What are the advantages/disadvantages of the instructor and the flyer? Is Titanium really worth the price? On the flyer for looks/wear, is the aluminum or the black Delrin best?

Thanks

I am very happy with my 1 1/2" Instructor Belt. For me, I don't believe the Ti buckle is worth the extra cost, that is one expensive 2 1/8 ounces of Ti. I just cant find a need for it myself. And hardly ever flying, I don't feel any need for the FF Belt. So the inch and a half five stitch serves me well carrying a Government Model 1911 and a spare mag or two.

I have a 5 stitch instructor and love it, but that buckle is a brute. If I had to do it over, I would try a FF.

The instructor is very comfortable to wear, but that buckle just seems like ridiculous overkill. If you ever feel that you may need to tie off, the instructor is the the one you want.

I like the 1.5" Instructor, either 5-stitch or CSM. CSM is (I think) $5 more expensive, and about $5 more rigid.

I know you asked about Wilderness but I just received my Last Chance Heavy Duty belt from Cabela's and couldn't be happier with it. It's thick and plenty stiff. I paid $15 on sale, regularly $25.

Galco used to make superb quality rigger belts reinforced for holsters. Sadly, they appear to have changed contractors or style or something -- I ordered one in the last year and it's nothing like the quality of the other I have from 2005 or so.

The Ultimate Rigger Belt from 215 Gear is my current favorite, and worth a look.

Thanks guys.
I will look into those.

I really like the look of the rings on the wilderness FF model. I was hoping for some feedback from some one that has tried it.
