National and especially local organizations -- who are the pro-gun groups that you support?

I'm trying to put together an inclusive list, and I know my efforts are coming up short...

Thanks.

TSRA of course. Even if you aren't from Texas its always a good one, or other state's individual rifle associations.

Then we've been trying to get a firearms club started at my school (SMU) and I'm sure many other schools have good pistol/rifle teams or concealed carry on campus groups.

Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Assn.
Virginia Citizen's Defense League
National Rifle Assn.

calguns.net - they've got a lot of legal action going on behind enemy lines.

Lets not forget

Reason Magazine - VERY pro 2nd Amendment

SAF
GOA
NRA
New York State Rifle & Pistol Association
Westchester Firearms Owners association.

Happy Trails Foundation.

Only known organization dedicated to helping kids in trouble that actively supports the 2nd amendment, and the firearms culture in general.

There was an excellent article about them in the most recent issue of "Guns of The Old West."

CalGuns.net rocks! They have attracted a great pool of 2nd Amendment legal talent and have some hot law suits cooking against burdensome state anti-gun laws. A growing online membership that are willing to stand up for their rights

California Rifle and Pistol Association, the state NRA affiliate. It's been shaking off the dust and getting into action in a big way.

I favor the VT ACLU. The RKBA is explicitly an individual right in the VT Constitution, which predates the Declaration of Independence, from a time when VT was an independent republic. The VT ACLU's position on RKBA thus differs from the national organization's.

Plus, they will also defend our other civil liberties, of which RKBA is just one.

The minus is that their funding pool is shared with the national organization. I don't think it's necessary to elaborate on my disappointment with the national organization's 2a position.
