Or is it something I can do myself? I have a P2000 and the trigger pull is too harsh. I'm told there's a two-spring set that can be replaced that will bring the pull down into the 4-5 lb. range, and that there are other things that can be done to get it slightly below 4 lbs., which would be ideal. Does anyone know of a 'smith that can do it, or where I can get the parts to do it myself?
I do alot of 1911 work, like trigger jobs and fitting of frame parts, and have no trouble dismantling and reassembling Sigs. I don't think a plastic gun should be too much trouble, right?
I would send it back to H&K, but I'm in the middle of a bad experience with another gun maker right now, and I'm sworn off of 'em at least until I get my %$&*@ gun back. I'm tired of being nonchalantly told "another week or two" when I could have forged a new gun with a popsicle stick in the time it's taken so far. Anyway, any pointers would be much appreciated.
