Who does any how do you usually conceal it?

I have decently big hands with long fingers, so for me pocket sized guns are generally not all that comfortable. I'm probably going to carry a SIG P228, and that, while big enough to hold comfortably, is still almost on the small size.

I'm just curious if it is possible without wearing clothing that screams gun. Also, fanny packs and gun vests would be very strange for me to wear given my current age (21).

I'm 5'6" and 125lbs. I have carried a huge XDM before easily. You say you are a big guy, no one will know you are carrying. People always think they will get 'spotted' or something, but truth it... 99.9% of people wouldn't even think that you would be carrying a gun.

Depends on the dress how I go about concealing it, but I always carry either a Glock 17, 19, or 26. The three ways I personally conceal the 17 are shoulder holster in winter time or any time I wear a big coat, IWB, strong side 4 o clock on a tee shirt and jeans day, and ankle holster on a day where I cant conceal either one of the other ways...

My current EDC. You can't get much bigger or heavier, and it conceals just fine strongside IWB with just about any clothes.

The idea that you can't carry an all-metal or full size gun is silly. The proper holster and belt makes concealment a snap, and even the heaviest of handguns are only three or four pounds. Is that really too much weight to deal with? Especially considering that in return you get better sight radius, better velocity, less felt recoil, better grip for recoil control, better capacity, and usually a better trigger?

I do, and I don't.

Usually a Commander, and sometimes a Sig 226. For concealment I would be of no help. While I don't actively think of myself as OCing, I sure don't put any effort into concealment either. If I wear a jacket or an untucked shirt, that happens to cover my gun, it's concealed, if not, it's OC. My favorite holster is not exactly made for concealed carry either.

I carry a full size Kimber Custom Classic 1911. I have two holsters and use one of them depending on what I am wearing. I either use a strong side Kramer holster if I am wearing a jacket or a strong side IWB Kimber holster (made by Galco) if I want to just wear a polo shirt or another shirt which I don't tuck in.

If I wear one of my thicker T-Shirts (from DuluthTrading.com), you can't see much and it is easier to get to.

One caution, if you decide on an IWB holster, get a good one. The mouth should stay wide open even when you have your belt cinched tight (as I do as I am shaped like an upside down pear). I have had to chide some friends who have purchased the cheap nylon holsters which collapse after you take out the pistol. It is worth the money to get a good holster.

I'm 5'11" and 185 pounds. I can conceal a full sized gun easily wearing a t-shirt or polo shirt if I leave the shirt un-tucked. At work I can't wear un-tucked shirts, so I carry a pocket gun. But when I'm off work, I just leave the shirt un-tucked and carry the gun in a high-ride Galco OWB holster, and no one's the wiser.

I carry a full size XDm9 in a Kholster IWB holster. It's extremely comfortable and completely disappears under a t-shirt. The key to comfortably concealing a full size pistol is a good IWB holster.

I carry a Colt Defender or Commander Size IWB and OWB just depends on what I am going to do that day . Its as others have said your holster and belt Must be of good quality and made for carry. Not a little walmart dress belt and nylon holster.

5'4'' and around 125 pounds I carry a Semi-compact Jericho .45 (slightly shorter barrel, full sized grip) and I'd say it conceals decently well with an IWB I made, carried between 3-4 o'clock. Theres no question in the winter with a jacket or hoodie, but in the warmer weather I have to stay away from "fitted" shirts. No biggie for me. Dress around the gun.

I've sinced tweaked my set up a little more, but in a regular shirt it disappears well enough that I'm not worried about printing.

I usually carry either a Kimber TLE II or a Beretta 92FS.
It is not really that hard to do with a good pancake holster or IWB holster:

Currently carrying a steel Commander sized 1911 3 o'clock IWB.
Carried a 4" N-frame at 4:30 IWB all winter.

I carry a 92FS everyday - almost for 18 months now. At the 3 o'clock position IWB. I can do it in the summer even with a t-shirt, as long as it isn't a super cheap, thin t-shirt... I am only 6'1" and 180 lbs, too...

When I lived in WA, I frequently carried my XD9 in a DeSantis OWB belt holster. It was very comfortable and all I needed to do was put a loose shirt over it. Now that I live in AZ, it's not so comfortable.

Meh.

I *can* conceal a 92D, but it does require a jacket.

Usually I just go with a compact. 15 rounds of 9mm or 15 rounds of 9mm.
