Who carrys a p3at as their primary gun?

I know a lot of yall carry the p3at as a bug. Does anyone carry it as their primary gun? It sure is tiny

I just qualified for CCW with P3AT and as soon as the card arrives, I will be. It's too hot here also to carry anything bigger.

Only when my pockets are unable to hide a S&W 642 in a Mika pocket holster, e.g., very tight jeans, tuxedo, sunday-go-to-meeting suit...or in a situation where there really is low...low....very low threat potential. In the Army they always told us side arms were nothing more than the "extension of your fist". I think that comment actually applies to this miniscule weapon/caliber.

I do most of the time when I'm not wearing a winter coat or jacket.

My life-style doesn't present a very high risk environment, and I feel well enough armed with one stuck in my hip pocket while walking the dog, etc.

I've got a whole bunch of bigger better guns, but the P3AT seems like the only one laying loaded in it's pocket holster on top of the hat rack all the time.

I'm going to get one or perhaps a Ruger LCP. But, I don't think it'll replace my P11, which is very concealable in a pocket and has more of everything to go with a little bigger size. The P3AT/LCP will just be another option available for me.

yep, back pocket wallet holster. Sometimes I carry other weapons, but I'd say 60% of the time my little P3AT is sitting in my back pocket.

Sometimes I drop down to a NAA .22mag, and sometimes I carry a Llama .380, but the P3AT is my everyday carry.

I carry it when I am too lazy or cannot carry a real gun off duty. I also carry it inside the trauma plate pocket on my vest daily. IMO it is better than nothing, but I do not feel well protected with it unless the threat comes within bad breath distance.


Texasshooter, I often carry it in a rear jeans pocket (between my wallet and cheek, sans holster) and forget it is there.

Havent tried back pocket but if you can sit down comfortably with a small wallet in your pocket a p3at is about the same.

I dont consider it a primary but if I cant carry a primary I just bring my bug and hope I dont need it. I dont have a lot of faith in .380 but its better than a fist.

I dont know about the back pocket, but I forget it is there in a desantis nemesis holster. Its almost like carrying another cell phone.
