So I just left my old job as a Recruiter at Robert Half International. I was tired of being underpaid, overworked 11 hours a day), way overstressed, and relying on other people who were not always all that reliable.

So now instead I get to mix my two favorite things. Firearms and Sales. Thats right ladies and gentleman, instead of selling people I am now selling boomsticks. A friend of mine let me know that Kieslers Wholesale had an opening and here I sit at my shiney new desk trying to sell people Guns, ammo and all kinds of nice Tactical looking accessories. :neener:

And yes this post has no reason other than for me to jump for joy. I get to sell guns (Lots of them in fact), and of course I can carry at work now without hiding it. But best of all I can surf the High road without having the Company IT department come after me with pichforks.

Now of course the most important question is this. What should I buy first with my company discount. Something in 5.7 or a new AR?

Robert Half sucks.

So, can you get a position in Dallas for a guy who has been doing SQL Server programming for 12 years and .NET programming (ASP.NET and Windoze Forms) for 5 years?

Henryville is about 20 minutes north of Louisville Kentucky, Kieslers is located in Jeffersonville, IN which is about 5 minutes north of Louisville, KY. It is about 1.5 - 2 hours East of Evansville to get here. I used to drive it all the time when I had friends living out in Evansville.

That is another big plus. I lived 45-50 minutes from the Robert Half office. I live 15 from here.

Damien, if you had lived in this area I would have been ringing your phone off the hook to put you to work. I needed ASP.NET developers and SQL people like my AR needs ammo.

Wow after a day of calling people I must say that I never imagined how different gun shop owners can be even in the same area. If any of you are owners and get a call from some strange guy named Kevin, make sure you are nice to him.

You should come back down and stop in El Tejon.

The store has really grown a lot. I have purchased all but 2 or 3 of my guns here since I started shooting 10 years ago. They are under new ownership but I can honestly say that things have only gotten better. I was friends with the Kiesler family and always got along with them really well, but the new owners are top notch as well and treat everyone very well. I don't work on the floor but most everyone who does is really great.

*hi-five*

awesome man, happy for you, wish my local gun store would have somebody quit or move out of town so they would have an opening, heh.

Be nice to the reps who call from Interstate Arms. They're just trying to do the same thing you are.

Thanks everyone. I am really excited about this.

Right now we are in the process of completely redesigning the web site and the old one is gone. As soon as we have it back up and running I will let you all know.

Till then we are doing email updates with our weekly deals and specials. While it is not a full online catalog it does give you the most up to date pricing on some of the hotter products.
