I am looking to buy a rossi 20 inch 357 and I have been checking prices. so far I cheapest I have found is 450 + 20 shipping. none of my lgs have one in stock. anyone know of a cheap place to look? I have checked buds and gunsamerica...

There is a local gun store around here that - if I remember aright - had a 20" stainless .357 and a 16" stainless .45 a month or so ago. Both were about $460 on the tag (don't know how they take to haggling).

I bought my 20" stainless 1892 years ago so for $406. Pulling up an inflation calculator, it looks like $406 in 2007 dollars is about $450-$460 in $2013 dollars. So the price hasn't changed much if at all.

well I found one for 470 shipped plus 25 ffl fee so maybe that's about right. I talked to my local gun store he is going to see if he can order one and he wants 469+tax. I had rather buy local anyway but I was hoping I could save $50-$75 online but its not looking like it.

$460 for a stainless 20 inch 357 that would be awesome. where is the gun store?

I agree with Buds, no sales tax, free shipping to your FFL if you are out of state. I too am looking for a Rossi 92 in .44 mag. I usually don't have use for pistol calibers in rifles, but I got a helluva hog and deer spot that it would be wise to use such ballistics in. I prefer a whole lot more bang than a .357 for some of the hogs I got especially in close quarters. still undecided on barrel length right now.
