I have a P239 in .40, the only holster I have for it is a Triple-K "Avenger" style. It carries OK, but doesn't really have the grip clearance I'd like to get a firm grip for the draw. In the past (previous P239) I had a Comp Tac paddle that worked very well...I'm actually in the process of ordering another one for this P239.
239 in 40 wife has one in 9 We both use a blackhawk 3 slot leather pancake. There is not one listed for the 239 but a size 13 228/229 fits it perfectly. The 3 slot allows me to position the gun where I want based on concealment or clothing.
I no longer have a P239 but when I did it road in a Milt Spark VM2. It was a solid holster. They cost a lot and there is a long wait but if you don't like it you can sell it for what you paid in about 10 minutes. LOL
I carry mine IWB Blade Tech Bobby McGee. My P239 is probably my most carried pistol due to the size. Second would be my HKP2000 which I also carry in the same model holster.
I've never carried my P239 OWB but if I did, I think I would go leather via Galco or Don Hume. I've never tried a Comp Tac but I've read good things about them.
I carry my SIG 239 in an Alessi Talon holster. I've tried the Milt Sparks VM 2 (with a different gun) and the Talon works better for me.
I wrote a review of the Talon back when I carried a S&W Model 65 in one. It works even better with the Sig 239 since the Sig is thinner then the S&W revolver.
I have one in .40 that I carry in an AKJ Concealco holster. I actually just requalified and shot the P239 better than my duty pistol. Some guns just agree with me.
I have a 239 9mm and carry it in a High Noon IWB Mr. Softy. The leather is softer and lets the gun move more with my body so I don't get a jab in the side everytime I move. And it has a tension screw to keep the gun tight in the holster. That and a great price work for me.
My P239 9mm came to me in 1998 and is carried in a Galco Summer Comfort IWB holster with a Galco Concealable Double Mag Pouch on the other hip. I also use a 5.11 Tactical holster shirt when necessary.
