You're very welcome! How do you like the 357?

I'm still tossing up the idea of the 1892 in 357 or 45 long colt versus the same calibers in a marlin 94. I handled the 45 LC puma in the store yesterday and a 94 in 44 mag. The puma cycled much nicer off the shelf, but i hate the silly way they mounted the safety.

My bother in law just got an ak, so I've been given the green light to get an ak. I figured I'd get a cowboy ak instead ;)

Well, as far as fit and apparent mechanical function, beautiful. It cycled smooth as silk. I have yet to shoot it. I'm waiting for my NYC rifle permit.

I will post on it when I have taken it out. I figure I'll shoot 150 rounds of 38, and 50 of .357 to familiarize myself with it. It's been a long time for me, but I'm looking forward to shakng the rust off.

The reason I went .357 is I plan on getting a wheel gun in the same caliber.

I own a Rossi in 45LC. I just put a couple of hundred rounds through it. Zero issue, accurate, and fun. I am happy with my $350used purchase but the rifle is still very tight and needs to be slicked up. For what I bought it for, great value for the money.

A lever carbine is not something I expect a lot out of ecept accuaracy and some fun. for the money, I feel the Rossio is the best bang for the buck.

I have not handled the Browning, but I put the Rossi over the Marlin.
