Another thread asked if anyone here had been to a range that famous people were attending.
This got me to thinking

If you could choose anyone in time dead or alive to shoot with who would you choose and why?

gimme your top three if you want or more or less.

For Me

#1 Theodore Roosevelt- The man was just legendary

#2 Masaad Ayoob- I would ONLY open my mouth to ask questions and pay very close attention.

#3 Carlos Hathcock- Just to watch the man do what he did best.

Whos yours?

P.S. Id like to stay away from fictional characters.... but Bob Lee Swagger would be my choice if my arm was twisted to pick one

Gotta agree with your first two people and for the same reasons. In my case:

#3 - Mike Venturino, those long range black powder cartridge rifles look REAL interesting.

#4 - John Taffin, just for his enthusiasm for the hobby.

And my dad...so I could show him the new marksmen skills I've learned, all the guns I still have that he passed on to me, as well as the new ones I've acquired.

Obama, Pelosi, Bill and Hillary.

To show them that guns don't "just go off", are not dangerous unless I make them dangerous - which makes me the danger, and can actually be fun and safe. I might as well throw in that woman from the Luby's shooting too, to show that people with guns on them is a good thing.

For fun, I'd want 1SG Funk, GEN Ridgeway, Jefferson, James Hetfield, and a buddy I can't shoot with anymore.

What I wouldn't give for my sons & I to shoot with my father, my grandfather and my uncle- just once

1. John Browing

2. Wild Bill (to see if he was as good as legend has it)

3. Tedy Roosevelt

My 15 year old son will do nicely. I really have no desire to shoot with anyone else. Well, I take that back. I enjoy shooting with my daughter, too. Anyone else I can take or leave.

I would like to have gone hunting with my grandfather. He died before I got into it. As for known shooters. Larry Vickers, "The Gunny", and Will Willis (from the TV show Special Ops Mission)

Wow, I'm the first person to say Elmer Keith? :p

Him, Bill Jordan, Massad Ayoob, and Jerry Miculek would all be fun to shoot with.

However, the one I'm really looking forward to shooting with is my two year old daughter.

3.I can't remember his name, but he's always on the marksmanship shows, an older guy who shoots for Benelli.
