Alright. I've got an 1894 in .357. Love it. Hated the sights. Got myself an XS ghost ring setup for it. Don't like it alot. The peep is just too high once it is sighted in, and it doesn't adjust far enough sideways. Is my barrel messed up? I dunno.
I have a williams FP on my 336 and do a pretty good job with it - 3-4" at 100 yds. My question is, does the fp hang over the rear of the 1894 too far to be useful? is it always in the way of the hammer? Why on earth did Marlin stop drilling and tapping them the old way?
