I am looking into getting a .17 HMR rifle and need some great suggestions. Trust me I have done a lot of research and have mostly come up with 3 good options.
I am considering the CZ since it has an excellent build quality, Savage since it has a good build quality along with the accutrigger, and the Anschutz since it would stand out a bit in my collection.
My question to you is why some of the fine gun companies are left out when mentioning the .17 HMR such as Weatherby, Remington, and Browning. All of their .17 HMR rifles are priced around $700ish which is getting close to what the Anschutz would cost me. I was guessing that CZ, Anschutz, and Savage puts a bit more focus on their rimfire rifles than these other companies????
I am not interested in the Ruger or Marlin. Can any of you guys recommend any of the 3 that I am interested in above the others? I am most interested in accuracy and build quality. I will also be getting this in wood stock. I plan on topping this rifle off with a Zeiss or high end Leupold scope.
Thanks guys
