Did glock change thier grip angle or somthing? I have a gen 3 g19 but i shoot the gen 4 better.. Im even better with a gen 4 glock 26.. I know all about the backstraps. Im talkin about the angle of the grip. It seems that with my gen 3 i have to aim high or low to shoot where i want , but with gen4 especially a g26 i just aim and shoot and its always right on. And thats a great feeling.. Im thinkin of buying a gen 4 glock26 but its alot more than that ruger lc9. About $200 more

From my understanding there is less of a "hump" on the Gen 4 then in the past. I am sure this would change the way the gun fits in the hand and perhaps even the way it points. This could have something to do with it.

The grip is 2mm thinner from front to back. I've fondled a Gen 4 G17 & G19, and even though 2mm sounds small, it makes a big difference.

So true. It would make more sense to think in terms of cubic volume of the grip you're holding. I.e. the difference in overall length X width X height of the two. I'm too lazy to do the math, but the reduction would probably come in around 10% or something. That's significant.

Could just be the individual guns. At one time I had 2 identical G-19's, #2nd generation. One was significantly more accurate than the other. Both were perfectly reliable and even the worse one was acceptable, but there was definately a difference. I ended up trading the less accurate gun for a G-26 that ended up being more accurate than the gun I traded off.

Do the draw and aim with your eyes closed drill....If your looking at the top of the slide when you open your eyes with one, and through the sights on the other, it should be obvious the grip shape is the difference.
