why does Hornady not sell primers

Hornady sells reloading equipment, brass and bullets, they make ammo, so why don't they sell primers?

Because there’s too much low-ball foreign competition….Fiocchi, Aquila, Ginex, Servicios & Aventuras, Magtech and Murom.

My impression is that primers and to some extent brass and bullets are really just manufacturers of loaded ammo dumping the rest of a production run on the market for whatever they can get. Hornady seems to actually care about the reloading market when it comes to bullets, but other than that you mostly see the federals of the world using components to mostly make ammo. Hornady doesn't sell primers because they can use everything they make.

Then stop buying them. Better yet, go into business and undersell the competition.

Why do you think I'm buying primers now? I loaded up when things were looking bad and have enough to last me 4-5 years, probably longer. Doesn't mean I can't call out the BS when I see it.
