Why I chose to keep my P-32 instead of getting a P-3AT

patentmike- I was about to give up on my P32 a couple of months into our relationship. A marriage counselor (a smith at K-Tec) and I had a discussion about my concerns. A brief attitude correction visit to the factory (by the P32, not me) has resulted in a good marriage. We now have several hundred rounds through her without a hitch. I would trust this little lady any time.

The pin on the underside of the trigger was backing out. A little loc tite, and it's back to the range to see if anything else pops up.

I had several hundred trouble free rounds through my P32, before I got my P3AT.
Now, I've been wishing I had kept the P32.

My P3AT would feed anything before I sent it in to be hard chromed.
Now I get one FTE per mag with UMC and Win. Whit box.
Also, the pin on the new gun is backing out. :banghead: :fire:

I had done the mods to my old pin, so it would stay home.
Looks like it's time to take a hacksaw to the new one.:scrutiny:

i think ill wait till the KTs are made by glock or Kahr.

:neener:

for me, it boils to this. If i KNEW i was going to have to usea a pistol for self defense today, id choose something different than a KT for my pocket...thats all.

but then again, SOME is better than NO gun.

I'm not aware of any studies that show FMJs to be superior in ANY caliber to hollowpoints.

The Kel-Tec P32 is a great little gun, I have one. But I also have a P-3AT, and when Corbon's PowRBall .380 load comes available, the combination promises to be quite some package.

If you're happy with the P32 stick with it. But the P-3AT offers you better protection in practically the same package.
