Had two of em, got one in the 70's I bought with a twenty dollar bill, it shot tens of thousands or rounds before I traded it, and the present one I got for $50 at a yard sale, both shot great.
Shawnee may have something about the fit of the stock or barrel of the 60 etc. at least for me. I find it easier and faster to knock shotgun shells etc. around at 40 or so yards with it than any other of the dozen or so 22's I own including one of, if not my favorite, a 39A. Just something about the Model 60, I have no idea for sure what, that makes it easy to be accurate with, at least for me.
