hey dont say all young guys dont appreciate garands! im saving up for my cmp m1 and im only 20 
to me the allure of the black rifle comes down to the fact that i can shoot a lot more 223 then 30-06 for the same amount of money, and until i get enough cash to get a reloading setup, thats a pretty big factor
