Why No Pocket 9mm Guns In The $500 Or Less Range?

How can you not pocket carry a PF9? Hell, I can pocket carry my Glock 27, and it's quite a bit bigger

Yo homie, is that my briefcase??

Seriously, if you can pocket carry a G27, you are either wearing pants that are too big, don't care if it prints, or dress like a homie.

Don't dress like a homie, but don't wear nut hugging wranglers like I am going to the rodeo either.

Its all in where you put it,
after all it might be my gun, and I might not be happy to see you, but it does slow down the draw a little when you have to unhug the gun.

For me, my pocket defines what is a pocket carry gun. My 642 disappears in my pocket, so, my pocket seems to be pretty large (unless you compare it to cargo pants).

If a 642 works, a PF9 is not a problem. Here's a Taurus vs P11 (two of my pocket carries).

Muzzles even....

Well, "muzzles even" is the problem. The PF9 has the grip frame that protrudes, along with the slide, much farther back than does the rounded feature of the Centennial j-frame S&W. This is where the problem is. I have a P11 (same size except thicker than the PF9) and it doesn't work in my pocket. Drawing it is not easy.

Wow, this thread certainly took off in a different direction.

Can someone who actually favors a P11 for pocket carry take a front shot and pocket side photo of their pants, with the P11 riding in pocket, so we can see if it prints or bulges the pocket out crazily? I just can't imagine unless someone is hefty as hell (TimboKhan could prob pull it off) or wears really baggy pants that it looks good and feels good.

If you really want to go the extra mile, make a vid of you drawing your P11 from pocket carry. Please!

I'm remaining open minded. I just want to see how it's done.

I get the feeling the guys who pocket carry P11 just have vastly different standards for what looks acceptable...I think it looks ridiculous when your pockets bulge out 3", whether or not it is obviously a firearm...
