Why not Benchmark for 223?

I use Varget with my 60gr VMax. I don't remember how I came by Benchmark I tried H335 first. H335 was too fluid and ended up all over everything. I'm starting to load some 55gr jacketed boat tails with the Benchmark tonight.

I haven't been able to find Benchmark after I used my first two pounds of it. Great stuff and meters well. I have used it with 55 gr projectiles with great results once I got over the green color and off smell when firing.:scrutiny:

I use Benchmark with 55 grn bullets and love it. Trouble is, I have very little left and have been unable to find it anywhere in the Chgo area. Switched to Varget - like that also - but would rather have my Benchmark back.

Benchmark groups the best out of any other powder I tried for 65gr GameKing in my .223 Savage. The hogs don't like it none, but it works great for me!

The Nosler No. 7 manual lists Benchmark as the most accurate powder in their testing in .223 Remington with both 50 and 52 gr bullets as well as 60 and 62 gr bullets. It also produced the highest velocity with the 50/52 gr bullets. I have tried it and got very good results with 40 gr bullets and intend to load some with 50 gr Ballistic Tips as well. I am confident it will give very good results when paired with good quality bullets, both accuracy and velocity wise. I still like Ramshot TAC, but these days, you might have to take whatever you can find.

I would love to see this load data. I have lots of great bullets and lots of Benchmark but am running very low on my Varget.
I only have the Nosler #14 manual and Benchmark is completely absent for 223 loads in this manual.
