Why the Bling?

Hmmm, the gold is a bit over the top. If not for that, it is actually pretty classy in an understated way. Maybe that is why the gold is a bit jarring to my eyes.

The first one is very nice. How much?

The non-bling BHP is suppose to be in the same price range as a standard BHP, so around $700-900 depending on dealer (MSRP is around $1000).

I have an engraved, sanbar stag gripped stainless.45 Colt Ruger Blackhawk that's a working gun. It's quite a rugged gun, ain't going to erase the engraving with use. Doesn't have any gold plating, though.

For the pimp effect, I like MOP or Pearlite grip panels.

I'm not sure why, but I just do not like the colour Gold all that much, at least on anything that I wear or use. Art pieces on display, or Jewellery on someone else are ok, but not on me.

Stainless/Nickel/Chrome/Silver? Love it.
Two-Tone? Some I love (Ruger P95 or 1911 variants), some I don't (Glocks).

That bling BHP 75th Anniversary edition would be brilliant minus the gold bits IMHO.
