That and it was our anniversary today.

She thouroughly enjoyed herself. Wouldnt touch the 30-30 though. :D

Here she is shooting my sw 6906. I was using the fastest shutter speed on the camera and caught her here just after the slide returned to battery. The look on her face is priceless, IMHO.

When I asked her what she was thinking, she said "I was just thinking that if little paper targets ever attack, I'll be ready for them!"

She is a High Roader at heart.

I am so proud to be married to such a wonderful woman for 10 glorious years.

That's a pretty elaborate range setup there. I'm a member of a club, and we don't have any structures like that....

Love it - my wife was a moderate anti when we met, and now she loves her CZ2075 RAMI 9mm, is on her second CCW permit, and says I can shoot her Yugo SKS if I ask nicely.... :p

Both my ladies

shoot regular. I remember when they each started. Mom was first. After Dad had been gone about 6 yr she asked me what I thought about her learning to shoot. She was never an anti just never thought Southern Ladies were supposed to pack a pistol. I said great. Short story is that she loves it at 75 & has two of her own. Has always out shot several men when qualifying. Me other Lady is my wife of 36 yr & when she decided, it was like a duck headed for water. Texas requires 170 score out of 250 & she fired a 246 her 1st CHL class & 98% on the written. When I said something about getting her what ever she wanted, I was informed that she was quit capable of deciding what she wanted & she could make her own deal. She did & then told me to write the check! I did. I am thankful every time I hear of another lady learning. By the way the covers at your range are nice. Ours are covered too w/ concrete to stand on & benches to sit on. We do all the work as volunteers & that really keeps the cost down. Good job & yall have another happy 45 or so more years together. They that love liberty more than life will die only once. They that fear death more than oppression die every time they close their eyes. Me.

Congrats on getting to the range again and having a great woman for 10 years ;)

I checked out the pic, that does look like a great range.

Not to be a shooting nerd here or anything FM, but your Mrs may want to revise her grip slightly to a weaver (or modified) to help recoil. Her off hand isn't doing anything except holding up her other arm, giving the grip a pivot point that can affect accuracy and controlability.

Happy anniversay ! :D
