Will 1911 sights fit on Kimber Solo?

Curious to know if we're stuck with Meprolight only, or if there are other choices out there for the Solo.

Looking at www pictures, that does not appear to be a 1911 dovetail.

That's what I thought, but need to confirm. Or, if not 1911,what other model gun sights might fit... for example, Ruger, Sig, or whatever...

You aren't really suggesting that I call a manufacturer to ask them which competitor's product will fit, are you?

They should tell you which Mepp's fit it.

Or at least, They should tell you which dovetail size they use on it.

If you are to bashful to ask Kimber?
Call Meprolite and ask them.

They just don't care!!

I see no reason why Kimber wouldn't give you the information you're after. Gun company customer service is generally top notch and then some.

Well, per my OP, I was NOT looking for Meprolites, but I'll give 'em a shot and ask about the dimensions. Thanks for the suggestion!
