Will a Rem Model 700 trigger fit on a Model 721 action?

The actions look to be the same, and the model 721 bolt works in the 700 action.

Have a project gun wanting a better trigger...

the 721 will even go into a 700 stock if you don't mind some light modifications. if you want to retrofit a 700 safety onto a 721, you can do that, too - though that is pretty extensive as far as modifying the 700 into a 721 - there's a little clearancing work that needs to be done on the tang.

the 721 is danged close to being a 700.

I found an old 721 in 30-06 at a pawn shop for $200 out the door. good condition, reblued, but crisp.

I have some M700 stocks I'd like to use vs the wood 721 stock, so I wanted a trigger that fit the 7oo stock.
