Will a Suppressor Aid in Recoil Reduction?

total newbe to this topic but will a suppressor aid in recoil reduction? Can one be added to a gun that has a muzzle break installed? Do you get your paperwork done before you can buy (or even pickout) the suppressor?

The weight of it eats up some recoil as does the suppressor itself.

Regarding papers: You do your paperwork after you 'buy' the suppressor, but you don't take possession of it until the papers clear and you get your stamp.

It will. weight and a muzzle brake both will.

...and it will also MASSIVELY increase the amount of gunsmoke blown back into your face if the gun is a semi-auto.

On centerfire rifle cartridges less than .338LM, a suppressor reduces recoil about the same as a good muzzle brake, maybe a bit more.
