I have a line on a trigger out of an original Remington 1858. Does anyone know if that will work in my Euroarms copy? Just thought it would be cool to have an original part in there...:D

While it has been said that the Euroarms Remington's are closest in overall size to the originals, I don't know if this is true with the internal parts dimesions.

My guess is that the original trigger would require, at the very least, some gunsmithing or modification to work & index properly. If you have to do that, please use a reproduction, instead of ruining a genuine original part.

While I admire your desire to have an original part in your gun, it won't make it any more valuable and you would be wrecking a part that could help to restore an original Remington NMA.

Just my opinion,
John

I agree with Yankee John. The value of an original trigger would be considerably higher then what a replica triger would cost, and it should be reserved for repairing an original revolver.
