Will tru-oil work on plastic stocks?

My RAR has a tan stock. And it shows dirt too much. I put some car wax on it. It's not doing well with repelling dirt. Im thinking about trying tru-oil on it.

I talked to my neighbor. He has a body shop. He said to clear coat it. He gave me some preps all to clean it with prior to clearing it.

Car wax will wear out over time.

Apply 2-3 coats of NuFinish polymer polish instead (Be sure to let dry and buff between coats) and your plastic stock will be non-stick to dirt and water repelling for a long time as NuFinish does not have wax.

I use furniture polish. It is made to repel dust.

I have 2 coats of clear on it already. I have a green plastic stock. I'll try some new finish on it. I need to get some pledge then. I used to put it on the ATVS to make clean up better.

I use 100% silicone spray on all my steel, plastic, and rubber bits. Leave it wet for storage, wipe off excess before use and reapply after. Easy peazy.

You lost me?? So tan shows to much dirt?? Then paint it dark brown, black or the color of the dirt around you.. Simple and done. How will putting any thing sticky on help repel dirt??
