Wilson Frame,Slide,Barrel Kits

Brownells has these pre-fit kits for sale. Frame, slide, match barrel, beavertail safety. All pieced together and fit by a Wilson smith. I am really interested in building my own 1911, and these kits seem to deal with the most difficult fitments. Has anyone worked with one of these before, opinions??

The barrel and slide are difficult and time consuming fitments yes.

You still have to fit the manual safety though and also ensure the grip safety is fitted correctly. These though less difficult and time consuming are much more important.

For a nice DIY project though this is one of the easier ones you are going to see that will essentially be building a 1911 from parts.
