Hi all,
I have a Winchester 1300 Youth Model shotgun that I haven't used for quite some time. It used to be my hunting gun but since I've inherited my father's Browning Over/Under I haven't used it.
I'd like to get a magazine extention and make it into a home defense shotgun for the wife. She absolutely hates 12ga shotguns, so I'm hoping to ease her into this 20 guage.
At one time I know I switched the forend with a synthetic forend so I'm thinking that the tube is the same diameter as the 12ga?
Has anyone tried, or does anyone have both 12 and 20ga winchesters and could see if the 12ga Tac-Star extention will work on the 20ga model?
And before anyone says the gun doesn't need an extention, I agree...It doesn't. I do, however, like extentions because I can load the shotgun with 4-5 rounds of "primary" loads yet still have room if I decide to toss a slug/other round in first.
