Ok, first off I'll get pics up soon, but I'm in the middle of an in-town move. That out of the way I just bought a 1980s production Winchester 94AE trapper carbine in 45 LC. A friend offerd me a very good price on the rifle, dies, a good bit of ammo, and a couple hundred pieces of unfired starline brass. The rifle is in like new condition; I couldn't pass it up. What I'd like to know is, how hot of a load will the little 94 handle? I know Double Tap and Buffalo Bore load some hot stuff for the Ruger revolvers, and I know the 94 was chambered in 30-30 so the action is pretty strong. I want something with a little more oomph than the stuff intended for the old SAAs, but I don't wanna over stress the rifle either. Any info is much appreciated.
