Hey all,

I found model 9422 (not a magnum) at local pawn shop. Laminated stock, between good to excellent condition, a few dings with no obvious rust. Price.... 699.99. I don't have blue book. Good deal or keep shopping? These rifles are less avail. than I would like.

Thanks to all!

94/22

I was looking for a 22 mag last year and trying to decide which one to get. Was looking at Henry's mostly since I did not want a bolt action since I'm left handed and that limited my selection. Saw a 22 lever gun in a rack at an outdoor store in Jasper, Ga. and upon examination, it was a 94/22m. Bingo! It was in excellent shape and has a green tinted laminated stock. Had 1 small scratch in the fore end. When he told me the price, I jumped all over it. Think it was $400. Got me a Leupold mount and Leupold 1X4 and found that I needed a little more eye relief. Ordered me a leather slip-over recoil pad and it gave me the right pull. Shoots very good. Looks good in my 4 gun rack next to my other 3 94's, all of which were also good buys. Not sure where you are located but it sounds a bit high to me. Most Pawn Shops will come off quite a bit. I highly recommend the rifle but again, the price seems a bit high to me.

The Win-Tuff rifles book around $650 for excellent, $800 or a little more for NIB. Personally I would go about $500, but I am a Walnut man. Lam guns don't do a thing for me.

That's kind of high, but it's an in-demand rifle that has been out of production for 10 years. Prices reflect that.

If you don't like the laminate furniture, Numrich has stocks and forends for it, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to like the prices.
