Does the Winchester 1200 furniture and Winchester 1300 Interchange?

Sept.2,2011 / Can any one tell me ,if the furniture (forestock and buttstock) from a Winchester 1300 will fit on my older model Winchester 1200? Mine is beat up and I want to put the 1300 set on mine and my buddy told me that they will interchange ,but I would like to know for sure before I purchase the said 1300 set. He also has a tactical set for the 1300 that he is willing to part with ,but I needs to know if the 1200 and 1300 are interchangable. Anyone Know? Thx. Lowboy

Buttstock yes. Forend generally yes... Depending on how the action slide tube is secured. IIRC some are integral with the tube and action bars.
