Took off the sling y'all see in the picture, it was a mossy oak rifle sling with cutouts for rifle rounds. I will be getting a black leather sling for this as well

Yeah, sorry. Stock retention bolt. Though if the shotgun is already set up for a pistol grip, maybe that bolt would work. I'm not sure.

Have had a number of Winchesters Defenders, from back in the day when there was on internet to say there was something wrong with them. With the double action bars, the action was smooth.
Sold the last one to a buddy; drifted to ARs as a SHTF home defense arm.

I have both the original 1300 with wood furniture that I bought when I turned 18, (I'm now 64) and found the Defender 18 years ago. Both have the smoothest pump action I have ever used in any make of shotgun.

I had a 1300 with black furniture once upon a time. It was a nice gun.

And IIRC the 1300 can cycle mini shells without issue
