I just got a winchester High Wall and I'm not sure exactly which it is
as I can't find one like it anywhere. It appears to be like a Winder Musket
but I understand these were 22 shorts and went to half cock on closing.
Mine is Stamped (22 Long R) and stays at full cock on closing. By the SR#
it was made in 1891-1892 it has the ladder sight just ahead of the breach
but it also has a side mounted peep that goes over top of the breach. It also
has a brass curved buttplate. I have pics if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Thanks
