winchester model 7o extreme weather ss
I own both winchester extremes and kimber rifles,I have three winchester extreme ss in 300wsm 30-06 and 325 wsm.I have the kimbers in model 84 in 308 and 8400 in 300wsm.I have used these rifles extensively and my vote goes to the winchesters for the folowing reasons;my first firing after bore sighting with the winchester extreme in 300wsm ,put three bullets in one hole at one hundred yards. I have never done that with any rifle including my rem 700's and sako finlights.the extremes have more factory installed options and go in any weather rain or shine, also in selecting a short action ,you benefit from the reduced weight and quick action recylcing on the bolt.. I also have a kimber montana in 270wsm and find it shoots better with certain factory ammo as I do not reload, The extremes have the better bell and carson stock and the barrel is fluted .Right now I am sold on the new winchesters made by FN in Columbia ,South Carolina .In closing the winchester price is certainly lower than the kimbers.regards Marc
