i have a winchester model 71, but i am missing the apature for the bolt peep. if anyboby has one they are willing to sell or trade please let me know. or anywere i can buy one at. thanks guys!

The common apeture thread is 7/32"X40 but depending on the bolt peep used, it could also be 10X40 or 10X32 thread.
Regardless Brownells should have something that will work.
If I was you, I wouldn't search too awful hard for an original apeture, they haven't really changed much in the last fifty years or so. HTH
