I saw a nice looking Winchester 75 .22 lr target rifle at a local shop today for $399 with Redfield receiver sight and globe front . It was in pretty good condition, though a little dirty, I would guess about 90%+. The scope block mounting holes still had all the plugs and the gunk around the barrel band and where the barrel and receiver mate up to the stock made it appear as if it had never been taken apart, all the screws looked pristine and it had two 5 round magazines. Is 4 bills a good price??

75 Target prices

That sounds like a fair price to me. If that is original finish and in the condition you describe, I would jump on it. I would expect to pay $500-$750 for a nice model 75 Target. Add $200 to those prices for the 75 sporter which are pretty hot right now. A couple of years ago I bought a 75 sporter for $375 in 90% condition. Today they go for around $750 to $900 in that condition. Condition is everything with the 75 Targets since they aren't really uncommon. That one sounds like a good one to me. The original magazines are nice to get. The originals will have Winchester spelled out on the bottom. The recent reproductions will have a W stamped on the bottom. Good luck.
