I have a Winchester model 77, mag. load that I am getting ready to sell. My question is, should I refinnish the wood?, sand, stain. finnish or just leave it as is.
Unles the dogs have been chewing on the wood you should leave it as is. I don't know if your gun has collector value, but buyers prefer the original finish even if it shows wear.
