I could start my own W94 thread, but this is probably as good a place as any to post a question.
I bought a used, but in 95% condition, W94 in .44 mag. for $125! Mine is an early 70’s model.
Anyway, it worked fine for 100 rounds or so, then suddenly the “follower” (the “thimble” like item in the ammo tube that sits on the spring and pushes the bullets toward the receiver) in the tube would not push back when trying to load it. If I remove the spring (which seems on the weak side and only strong enough to push the bullets forward) and tap the follower it will pop loose until the sping is replaced and it will again stick. Hoever, I can place one round in it, replace the follower and spring, close up the tube, load the weapon and it will fire fine again...
…but only until it is empty and I have to start the process over.
I have looked at the “follower” and it seems to be fine.
Any ideas?
